The annual Global Philanthropy Forum Conference, kicking off this week in Washington, D.C., will focus on global challenges where business, philanthropy and government have clear positive roles to play — both separately and collectively.
Top philanthropists, social investors, business executives and government leaders will convene from April 22 through April 24 to consider methods for combating some of the world’s greatest social issues. Program tracks and working groups will focus on cleaning up supply chains, strengthening health systems, mobilizing private capital flows for development and supporting communities in times of crisis.

About the Global Philanthropy Forum
A project of the World Affairs Council, the Global Philanthropy Forum aims to build a community of donors and social investors committed to international causes, and to inform, enable and enhance the strategic nature of their work. Through an annual conference and special events, the GPF connects donors to issues; to effective strategies; to potential co-funding partners; and to emblematic agents of change from around the world. By building, and continually refreshing a lasting learning community, the GPF seeks to expand the number of philanthropists who will be strategic in pursuit of international causes.
