Carbon Forum America Attracting Job Seekers and Young Professionals in the Climate Change Industry

CHICAGO/GENEVA/COLOGNE/WASHINGTON/OTTAWA – January 29, 2008 – Det Norske Veritas (DNV) announced today the organization of a job fair during Carbon Forum America which will take place from February 26-27, 2008 at their booth at the Moscone Center North in San Francisco.

The search for additional staff is a result of DNV’s need to significantly expand their Climate Change Services North America (CCSNA) team to meet soaring demand. DNV operates in over 100 countries with 300 offices worldwide, major climate change service centers are currently in the U.S., Norway and India.

DNV was the first company to be certified by the UNFCCC as a third party verifier of CDM projects and currently certifies 40% of such undertakings worldwide. Customers are industry, governmental and non-governmental organizations in need of market-based solutions as a result of climate change.
