GOLDEN, CO – Three Coors Brewing Company employees have been recognized for their significant contributions to promote diversity within the company and the community at large. The John Meadows Spirit of Diversity Award honors those who have demonstrated a passion and personal commitment toward diversity by mentoring, confronting discrimination and by being a vocal advocate for the support of human differences.
“We are extremely proud of each of the individuals who act as a role model for Coors Brewing Company in every sense of the word,” said Frits van Paasschen, president and chief executive officer of Coors Brewing Company. “They promote the understanding of differences, they listen with commitment, live our values and confront issues with diplomacy – they do this along with participating in specific activities that support and advocate diversity within Coors. They deserve all the recognition they receive through this award.”

Mike continuously demonstrates inclusion by unselfishly giving himself and his time to help further the understanding and acceptance of diversity through every person that he meets.
Each year Jody is involved in the community through her numerous projects on behalf of the Company such as Race for the Cure, Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build, and Curtis Park Community Center.
Pablo has established considerable focus with the Hispanic community and has worked to integrate diversity with Coors distributors.
The John Meadows Spirit of Diversity Award was established in 1999 and is named after John Meadows, a former employee of Coors Brewing Company and the inaugural recipient.
