CSE contributed to the Net Impact conference in Chicago on the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility and the Global Trends. In his speech the Executive Director of CSE, Nikos Avlonas, underlined the different perspectives on CSR in the different regions of the world as well as the new trends arriving from Europe, including CSR reporting and legislation by EU.
Additionally Nikos Avlonas contributed to the UN Millennium goals panel discussion organized by the Kellogg School of Management together with Dennis Whitltle CEO Global Giving , Elmira Bayrasli Director of Communication Endeavor and coordinated by Sunil Sanghvi, partner Mac Kinsey & Company. Many leading speakers also joined the conference including Barry Salzberg, CEO Deloitte & Touch ,Andy Lock Executive Vice President Herman Miller, Maria Otero President & CEO ACCION International.
