Envido to open new office in Birmingham

April 9, 2010

Envido, the UK’s leading provider of energy and carbon management services, has today announced that it will open a new office in Birmingham in June.

This follows the success of the launch of Envido in Ipswich at the end of 2009 and marks the first of a series of four new offices that Envido plans to open in key locations by the end of 2010.

Envido will open the office as part of its ongoing plans to expand its network of offices throughout the UK. This is the third wave of Envido’s regional expansion plan, which has been increasing the numbers of project managers and engineers working from its offices outside of London by 60% — in some cases doubling local teams.

Russell Lerman, Managing Director, commented: “Birmingham is an ideal city for Envido to open an office. Both our Manchester and Ipswich offices have had great success in developing our business in the North and East respectively. Demand and growing opportunity is such that we need to allocate more resource to the Midlands. Birmingham, with its excellent transport links and business opportunities is an obvious choice of location. Opening an office here allows us to be accessible and geographically close to our clients in the Midlands and Wales.”

Envido is currently sourcing locations for the three further offices in Bristol, Edinburgh and Dublin and will make announcements on these later this year.
