Global integrated communication consulting firm APCO Worldwide has announced its decision to join the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) as a new corporate partner.
IBLF and APCO have worked together in a number of geographies over recent years, and the decision to formalise a Corporate Partnership agreement means that a mutually beneficial collaboration on corporate responsibility issues and platforms, as well as product development for APCO clients and IBLF partners will now be realised. Recent IBLF and APCO activity has focused on consumer health, employability and enterprise development.
APCO helps its clients navigate the complex and often converging worlds of business, industry and finance; media, public opinion and society; and government and public policy by combining a global perspective with local expertise to understand the issues, events and trends that impact businesses and organisations around the world. This includes anticipating trends and smartly managing reputation, communication, and business opportunities and challenges that affect organisations, products, services and brands. APCO has a global team of more than 550 experts in 29 business, media and political capitals around the world.
On joining IBLF, APCO Founder and CEO Margery Kraus said: “We are very excited about this opportunity and finding ways to leverage our partnership with IBLF for our clients and our company. APCO partners with best-in-class organisations to provide high-level strategic counsel to clients around the world and this partnership will allow us to provide more robust advice in the area of corporate citizenship.”
Graham Baxter, Acting CEO of IBLF said: “I am delighted about strengthening the IBLF-APCO relationship, which will enable both sides to further develop their knowledge and contributions in the fields of responsible business and sustainable development.”
“In addition to IBLF’s work with APCO on recent initiatives, long-time IBLF friends and colleagues, Jane Nelson and Larry E. Snoddon, are both members of APCO’s International Advisory Council and have been strong advocates for a closer relationship between the two organisations. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their support on this partnership and look forward to realizing the synergies between the two organisations.”
