BURLINGTON, VT – In early June, business professionals and upper level students will come together with nationally recognized socially responsible business leaders in a week-long program at The University of Vermont.
The 5-day intensive course takes place June 8-12, 2005 on the University of Vermont’s main campus in Burlington.
Participants will learn and apply new principles of designing, organizing, and managing — based on sustainability. “Living” case studies will support hands-on learning, helping participants to integrate theory and practice. Each segment will be team-taught by a leading hands-on practitioner and a university faculty member. Complete information, including online registration, is available on the program’s website http://uvm.edu/sustainablebusiness.
Participants may take the course for college credit or for professional credit to earn a “Certificate in Sustainable Business Practices”. In addition, each day-long seminar may be taken individually.
