June 15, 2005

Cleveland – KeyBank is the winner of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business 2005 Corporate Diversity Award for significant support of the college’s diversity efforts.

Currently ranked 13th on DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity, KeyBank contributed to Fisher College’s design, funding and rollout of new academic programs helping minority students and aspiring entrepreneurs turn their ideas into businesses.

The jointly established programs include an interscholastic case competition for minority students and a workshop series held among world-class extracurricular activities hosted by the Business Builders Club, an entrepreneurship student organization affiliated with the Center for Entrepreneurship at Fisher College.

“The pursuit of the goals of diversity and inclusion represent daily effort and a continuing commitment whether on the individual and corporate level,” said Sue Josephs, associate dean for educational and professional diversity. “KeyBank exemplifies that spirit and practice. We are proud to have their support for our own college diversity mission and to work alongside them in our mutual goals of a more just society and world.”
