Medtronic Donates $1 Million to Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort

–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sept. 1, 2005–Medtronic announced today that it has pledged $1 million through the Medtronic Foundation to support American Red Cross relief efforts in Gulf Coast areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. The aid is in addition to an existing three-year, $375,000 Foundation grant to the Red Cross’ disaster relief fund.
