October 25, 2007

Camelot, the operator of the UK National Lottery, has just published its eighth Corporate Responsibility Report, available to view online via http://www.reportalert.info/ra/Camelot241007.htm.

With this year’s theme ‘Putting responsibility first’, the report highlights Camelot’s success in winning the third license to operate The National Lottery.

In what has been a challenging year, the company outlines it’s key achievements such as accomplishing the best-ever results in its work to prevent underage play, reducing CO2 emissions by 29% and bringing the total amount raised for Good Causes to more than £20 billion. Future priorities will include continuing to provide leading-edge work on player protection and pioneering new ways of engaging with stakeholders.

The report is independently assured by The Reassurance Network using the AA1000AS Assurance Standard.
