The Savannah Ocean Exchange has appointed Moffatt & Nichol’s Jason Ball to serve as 2012 Executive Director Solutions. In that role, he will lead this year’s incentive award program, which recognizes innovative and achievable solutions that have the potential to make positive impacts on our oceans and coasts. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Ball served as the Director of Delegate Acquisition for The Savannah Ocean Exchange.
With the firm’s extensive background in the maritime community, Moffatt & Nichol has been a valuable resource for the group providing insight and subject matter expertise to help achieve the organization’s goal to elevate awareness, while motivating and accelerating the adoption of global solutions to problems that challenge world oceans.
The Solutions Awards represent the culmination of the group’s annual Solutions Exchange conference, which brings together individuals and organizations from diverse fields of technical expertise and global commerce to explore and showcase viable solutions to challenges facing oceans today. Competitive submissions represent innovative, proactive and globally scalable business and technical solutions, with cross-industry applications that generate economic growth while reducing environmental impacts.
