AMSTERDAM – SiRi Company announces that all assets and activities of SiRi Group are transferred to SiRi Company with immediate effect. This development positions SiRi Company as the leading independent global provider of SRI research and consulting services for institutional investors and financial professionals.

Due to the succesfull development of SiRi since its official inception in October 2001, SiRi members have decided to establish an independent for-profit company to further expand and enhance the consulting services and underlying research. SiRi Company will have centralised research management, administration and finance. It will continue to build on the local presence of its research partners and sales agents, who employ over 100 SRI researchers.

The key strength of the independent research and consulting philosophy of SiRi Company is the recognition that, while global investing requires global research, company analysis must take account of local circumstances and cultural differences. Therefore, research is best undertaken by organisations based in local markets. In adopting a centralised business strategy and control, the company enhances its capacity to put this vision into practice.

SiRi Company is owned by the members of the former SiRi Group.
