This interview features Amy Domini, Founder and CEO of Domini Social Investments. Domini is widely recognized as the leading voice for socially responsible investing (SRI). In 2005, Time magazine named her to the Time 100 list of the world’s most influential people, and in 2009 Time listed her as one of 25 “Responsibility Pioneers” who are changing the world. Also in 2005, President Clinton honored her at the inaugural meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative for helping protect children and the environment.
Here she discusses SRI industry growth as well as industry challenges with Steve Schueth, President of First Affirmative Financial Network, a leader in sustainable and responsible investing. Schueth and Domini go on to talk about the role of oil and gas multinationals, coal and diversified energy companies in SRI portfolios.
This interview is part of a series of 2010 SRI in the Rockies speaker interviews, produced by First Affirmative Financial Network in partnership with CSRwire. Plan to join investors and investment professionals from the U.S. and around the world November 18-21, 2010 at the 21st annual SRI in the Rockies Conference at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas.
