“In just one short year, SAC has grown to 73 members. Our mission – to raise the level of social, environmental, and economic performance through shared responsibility and collaboration among business, non-governmental, academic, and government organizations – is one our members take to heart,” said SAC Executive Director Anne Vogel-Marr.
Founding members of SAC include: American University, Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, BMW, Calvert Investments, CLF Ventures, DM Petroleum, Johnson & Johnson, Michelin, Pfizer, PRIZIM, Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, Wildlife Habitat Council and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. A complete list of SAC members is available on the SAC website.
“We are a learning organization, sharing best practices and unique perspectives with each other in many ways over the past year. Topics have spanned the ecological and natural resources arena, workers and their surrounding communities, and the interface of these resources in creating an ever more sustainable economy. And we are planning to do much more in 2012,” added SAC President Bill Bozzo, DM Petroleum Operations Company.
