WASHINGTON, DC – The annual Sustainable Enterprise Summit is the World Resources Institute’s premiere business event. Nearly 200 business executives convene at the Summit each year to learn from experts and fellow attendees about best practices for implementing leading sustainable business strategies.
WRI’s 7th Annual Summit Today’s Challenges, Tomorrow’s Markets will bring together innovative corporate leaders and sustainability experts to explore the themes raised in the Institute’s recent publication, Tomorrow’s Markets: Global Trends and Their Implications for Business, now in its second edition. The premise of the publication and this year’s Summit is that the sustainable enterprises of the future will align their growth strategies with providing solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Specific sessions at the Summit will focus on today’s challenges and tomorrow’s markets in: energy; natural resources; transportation; water; and nutrition. Other sessions will explore finance, opportunities at the base of the economic pyramid and corporate management skills for capturing new markets.
