WALNUT CREEK, CA – The PMI Group, Inc.’s (NYSE:PMI) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Roger Haughton was recently honored by Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). Mr. Haughton and his wife Judy were presented with the 2005 Hope Award for their ongoing commitment to ARF’s mission of aiding abandoned and homeless animals. ARF rescues dogs and cats that have run out of time at public shelters and brings people and animals together to enrich each others lives.
Mr. Haughton received the Hope Award during the 14th annual “Stars to the Rescue” benefit at the Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, CA. During the award presentation, PMI was also recognized for its work in creating affordable housing opportunities for deserving families and for its steadfast commitment to Habitat for Humanity.

He is not only successful in his career, recently leading the St. Louis Cardinals to the World Series, but also gives back to society whenever possible.
