Each and every local Green Map project – and there are over 800 in 65 countries – benefits from the tools, processes and icons developed by the award-winning Green Map System. This New York-based nonprofit organization has been building capacity for the participatory development of smarter, healthier and greener communities since 1995.

“Double Match Day continues until Midnight on June 13”, declared founder and director, Wendy Brawer. “Although Global Giving’s matching pool ran dry this morning, our anonymous donor – who was matching the match – has just stepped in to make every donation – from $10 to $1000 – made today worth 100% more to Green Map System”.

Every donation is tax-deductible, regardless of which platform it was on. As of 1:30 PM, over $7,000 has been raised from generous donors, some of whom have also had their contributions matched by their employer.
