HARTFORD, CT – United Technologies Corp. today released its first Corporate Responsibility Report, detailing the company’s environmental, ethics and social actions. UTC is first among its aerospace peers and the first Connecticut-based corporation to release such a report.
The Corporate Responsibility Report enables UTC to show the company’s record on non-financial issues, and to inform investors, customers and new employees about UTC values and priorities. In addition to achievements, the report describes UTC’s challenges and steps taken to address problems including environmental shortfalls.
“Corporate responsibility means embracing the highest standards, implemented by employees everywhere,” said UTC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer George David. “It demands a relentless focus on lessening negative impacts and increasing positive return.”
