MINNEAPOLIS, MN. – June 28, 2007 – Verisae, a web-enabled clean technology software and services company, announced today Environmental Compliance Software for the UK and European Markets. Enterprise Refrigerant Manager (ERM) is a web-based software program allowing users to track refrigerants based on EC Regulation 842/2006 in the UK and European Union.
The law complies with Kyoto Protocol requirements for Greenhouse Gas reductions. The new software focuses on multi-site owners with a high concentration of refrigerants in their facilities, such as Food Retailers.
The new regulations require owners of most fluorinated greenhouse gases to track leaks, disposal and repair of systems. The regulations effect Commercial Refrigeration, HVAC and Fire Protection systems over 3kg. Verisae’s ERM software allow users to ensure prompt leakage repairs systematic leak checking, verification for calibrated leak detection devices for systems, and proper record keeping to ensure technicians are certified.
Verisae’s new system allows for exception based reporting and user defined roles within the constraints of the new regulations. “It is the most comprehensive way for an Enterprise to gain compliance, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and lower costs”, said Ted Gartland, Director of Refrigerants and Environmental Compliance for Verisae. “Government regulations are becoming increasing stringent on any chemical with a negative Global Warming impact.”
