WHAT: New Ventures Brazil Investor Forum

The World Resources Institute’s New Ventures Brazil program provides Brazilian businesses with a venue to showcase themselves to international and regional venture capitalists and individual investors in order to facilitate the transfer of venture capital to sustainable enterprises.

Alvaro Gonçalves, President of the Brazilian Association of Venture Capital (ABCR), will deliver the keynote speech on November 29. Finalists will present their business plans later that afternoon. Winners will be announced during lunch on the afternoon of November 30.

WHY: After four years of operation, New Ventures entrepreneurs have attracted more than $10 million in total investments in countries such as China, Brazil and Mexico.
